Partners in Pediatrics Moves to the Lake
PIP's Calhoun Office is Now Open!
In the early 1930s, Manny Lippmann was a young pediatrician looking for a growing, accessible area where he could set up practice. He found it in downtown Minneapolis where he practiced in the Medical Arts building which was easily reachable by bus and streetcar. He added some partners and moved to a larger building, eventually settling on Hennepin Avenue in the early 1960s, in the heart of Minneapolis’s Uptown area.
He called his practice Pediatric Associates. Then after growing, and then merging and expanding with Oakdale Pediatrics, it became what we know now as Partners in Pediatrics. And that Uptown office has remained in its same location for almost 50 years.
As we know, all things change. Our Uptown office has become older, it’s showing its age. And as Uptown’s patient population continues to increase, it no longer fits in that quaint little building.
So the Uptown office has been reborn as a new state-of-the-art pediatric clinic near Lake Calhoun. The new year has seen us move to St. Louis Park at 3910 ExcelsiorBoulevard.

The Calhoun office will continue the tradition of all Partners in Pediatrics’ offices, and provide the full complement of pediatric care for all ages, from newborn to young adult.
The hours haven’t changed. Our Calhoun office is still open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The phone number is now (952) 562-8787. ReadyCare is always available during office hours.
