Who do we care for?
Our medical providers are qualified to care for your children from birth to age 23. We encourage long term commitment between patient and provider. As your child grows and matures, we actively involve him or her in health care decisions to ease the transition to health care as an adult.
What is our experience?
Our pediatricians are specialists in the area of childhood diseases. They also perform routine health care examinations. They are board certified, meaning they have passed rigorous examinations in all areas of pediatric training. Our physician assistants and pediatric nurse practitioners have all completed rigorous training in their specialties. They are qualified to perform well-child exams and treat common illnesses. They work under the supervision of our licensed pediatricians.
Can I make an appointment for my child to be seen?
Absolutely! Routine well child exams and immunizations are by appointment. If your child needs to be seen a condition that is more complex, or for follow-up of an illness or injury, please call the office where you would like your child to be seen for an appointment so that we can devote the appropriate time and attention to address your concerns.
What is ReadyCare?
ReadyCare is available for children with simple illnesses or injuries at all of our five locations without an appointment during office hours, from 8 am until 5 pm Monday through Friday. In addition, the Brooklyn Park and Maple Grove offices are open for ReadyCare visits Monday through Thursday evenings until 8 pm and Maple Grove is open Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30 am until 12:30 pm. Our pediatric specialists and staff will provide your child with the kid-friendly health care you expect from Partners in Pediatrics.
How do I reach the business office?
Our business office can be reached 763-278-0800. Staff can answer questions about billing policies and help with insurance questions. We can directly bill many insurance companies. Please bring your current insurance card with you when you visit any of our offices. We also accept Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover Credit Cards for your convenience.
What should I bring with me to my first appointment?
Bring any old records if you have them, also a complete record of immunizations is helpful. If you do not have old records, bring the address and phone number of your previous clinic with you and we can help get those records. Bring any forms you need filled out and questions for your provider. Check our "New Patient Information" page for forms you can print out and complete before you come into the office.
What insurance plans to you take?
Partners in Pediatrics takes most major insurances. Check our web site insurance page or call the business office for the most up to date information about covered health plans.
What about immunization records?
We strongly believe in the importance of immunizations. We strive to ensure that your children are up to date with their immunizations and keep thorough and accurate records of them. If you are new to the clinic we would appreciate the most recent copy of your child's immunizations.
How do I make an appointment?
Our phones are answered from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday at all our offices. Phones tend to be very busy during the first few hours of the morning. We strive to answer calls as quickly as possible and limit on-hold times. If you are calling for a future appointment such as a physical examination, it might be easier to call after 10:00 am.
What if I have a question?
Specially-trained triage staff are always available to answer your questions at each site. If you need to talk with your provider, your provider will attempt to return your call as soon as he or she is able. Much general pediatric information is available on this web site.
