BIOGRAPHY
He graduated locally from Wayzata High School, and recieved his undergraduate degree from St. Olaf College. Dr. Smeltzer is a board-certified pediatrician who has been with us since 1988. He has a special interest in caring for children with asthma, allergies, ADHD and in dermatology.
He completed his residency at the University of Minnesota. He and his family live in Minnetonka, along with their poodle, Marley. Dr. Smeltzer enjoys camping, hiking, bicycling, traveling and attending his children's sports and music events.
Dr. Smeltzer sees patients at our Brooklyn Park office.
HOSPITAL AFFILIATIONS
Partners in Pediatrics pediatricians care for newborns at North Memorial, Maple Grove, Abbott-Northwestern, and Fairview-Southdale Hospitals. Children requiring hospitalization are cared for by pediatric hospitalists at Children's Hospital in Minneapolis.
