BIOGRAPHY
Being raised in the Middle East, Dr. Jiwa had the opportunity to attend the University of Wales, College of Medicine. She met her husband, Rahim, while doing an elective at the University of Minnesota. Subsequently, after finishing medical school and a year's internship in medicine and surgery in Wales, she moved to Minnesota and completed her pediatric residency at the University of Minnesota in April 2001.
She continues to volunteer at the Anderson School Clinic and is very active in her local religious community.
Dr. Jiwa and her family reside in the Twin Cities. She enjoys tennis, badminton, reading and cooking.
She sees patients at our Rogers and Brooklyn Park offices.
HOSPITAL AFFILIATION
Partners in Pediatrics pediatricians care for newborns at North Memorial, Maple Grove, Abbott-Northwestern, and Fairview-Southdale Hospitals. Children requiring hospitalization are cared for by pediatric hospitalists at Children's Hospital in Minneapolis.
