Partners in Pediatrics would like to welcome Jenny Junck, C-PNP, to our family. Many of you have already met her while visiting one of our clinics.
Ms.
Junck was born in LaGrange Park, Illinois. She graduated from Marquette
University and received her B.S. in nursing. After graduating from nursing
school, she volunteered through AmeriCorps in Washington, D.C. at a medical
clinic for the homeless for a year
.
After her stint in
D.C., Ms. Junck worked for several years at University of Michigan C.S.
Mott Children’s Hospital on a general pediatrics floor, while completing
her pediatric nurse practitioner education at University of Michigan.
In June of 2006, Jenny and her husband relocated to Minnesota due to her husband starting a residency program at the University of Minnesota. Prior to joining Partners in Pediatrics, Jenny worked at another pediatric primary care clinic.
She started at PIP in late January and will be rotating through all the clinics, but will mainly be working at our Maple Grove and Brooklyn Park offices.
In her spare time she enjoys running, cooking, hiking, and spending time with her family, friends, and thirteen nieces and nephews.
