After completing his training and subsequent pediatric residency at the University of Minnesota Medical School, Dr. Goldfarb served two years in the medical corp of the Army. After his return to Minneapolis, he joined Drs. Sid Scherling and Leonard Greene in clinical practice with Pediatric Associates, Ltd. (now Partners in Pediatrics, Ltd.).

Dr. Goldfarb has been married to Audrey (Keiffer) Goldfarb for the past 44 years. They have four children and seven loving grandchildren.
“Dr. Mace” has countless numbers of patients who have bonded with him throughout his forty years of practice. They have kept in touch with him as they have become adults and many have brought their children to him to be cared for and hugged.
Dr. Goldfarb has been a role model for many young pediatricians. He will truly be missed by all who have had the pleasure of working with him and those who have been lucky enough to have had him as their doctor.
