Biography

Dr. Kuperman grew up in PIP's backyard - graduating from Robbinsdale
High School as well as the University of Minnesota for college and
Medical School. Following pediatric residency at the Kansas University
Medical Center in Kansas City, he returned to begin practice in this
part of town in 1978. He lives in the area and enjoys seeing so many of
his current and former patients outside the office. Dr. Kuperman is
board-certified in pediatrics and has a special interest
in the evaluation and management of children with behavioral and
developmental problems, such as ADHD, Autism and other school-related
problems.

He and his wife are very dedicated to family and after years of
raising their own 3 children (twin daughters and a son), are just
thrilled to now have grandchildren to love and spoil! When not with the
kids, they are most likely to be found on the golf course, walking or
riding around local lakes, at a restaurant or the movies. Other
interests are music, photography, computers and books. Dr. Kuperman's
wishes for the future - aside from health and long life for all - is to
finish writing his family's Holocaust survival story, have plenty of
time to read and travel, and to someday get a hole-in-one!

Dr. Kuperman's advice for families? Love your children, show them
kindness and support, be open and positive, and take an interest in what
they do - and listen. Be there for them and they will learn to someday
return that love and kindness to you and others.

And one more thing - stay active, eat your fruits and vegetables, and
wash your hands!

Dr. Kuperman sees patients at our Maple Grove office.
