Dr. Palmer grew up in Burnsville, Minnesota. She attended the University of Minnesota-Duluth, where she received a BS in chemistry with a minor in Spanish. She then attended the University of Minnesota-Minneapolis where she completed medical school and a pediatric residency. She is a board-certified pediatrician who joined Partners in Pediatrics in 1998. When not seeing patients, she keeps busy championing our Electronic Medical Record system. Dr. Palmer lives in Maple Grove with her husband, son and two daughters. When not chauffeuring her kids to various events, she keeps busy with a family garden, attempts at creative cooking with veggies from that garden (and the much better veggies from our CSA), trying every new restaurant in town, and traveling. Dr. Palmer enjoys seeing patients of all ages and does her best to work together with families to make them worry less and stay on the path to healthy living. Her advice to parents: “Take time to enjoy your children during every phase of development; they really do grow up too fast.”
