Biography
I went to the Ohio State University for college and medical school. I completed my residency at the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. I moved to Minnesota to be closer to my family. I have been in practice for almost a decade and enjoy forming long term relationships with families. I am the lab director for all five Partners in Pediatrics offices. I am also the founder of the Partners in Pediatrics Environmental and Social Justice Advocacy Committee, and I pursue environmental and social justice work in my spare time. I serve as a medical advisor for the Minnesota Medicine journal and have published several articles with them. I believe that true health care includes addressing a patient’s physical health, mental health and social determinants of health. I strongly believe that environmental, racial and social justice work are integral to the practice of medicine. I work to provide patients with care that addresses all aspects of their health and well-being. In my spare time I enjoy traveling, hiking, reading, cosplaying and going to comic-cons.
